Landis+Gyr Successfully Deploys Reliability Planner
Advanced analytics application supports grid reliability initiatives and reduced outages
ATLANTA, GA. – December 6, 2016 – Landis+Gyr, a global leader in transforming the way energy is delivered and managed, has launched its Reliability Planner application. The application was developed in collaboration with utilities and is already working to improve grid reliability for over 2 million consumers.
As part of Landis+Gyr’s Advanced Grid Analytics platform, Reliability Planner offers the ability to accurately calculate and display reliability performance indicators and measure improvement. It also helps utilities develop and justify reliability improvement programs that meet implementation timelines.

Reliability Planner supports the optimization of asset replacement and maintenance spending, providing more value for available budgets or to justify existing budgets. In addition, it delivers an analysis of past outages and mitigation options, allowing engineers and operators to better plan, anticipate and respond to network interruptions.
